Vikings vs Ravens Prediction & NFL Odds for Week 9
- Lamar Jackson will pass for over 250 yards.
- Kirk Cousins will be sacked at least twice.
- Justin Jefferson will have over 100 receiving yards
It’s clear that the organization is taking a hard look at the Vikings’ staff and their inability to win big games. Last week, they had the chance to beat the Dallas Cowboys and instead allowed Dallas to score with ease. Now they’ll face one of the best teams in the AFC, one with the most lethal mobile quarterback as well.
The Baltimore Ravens are coming off of a loss as well to the Cincinnati Bengals. However, the situation is a lot less dire for the 5-2 Ravens. They know exactly what they need to do to win games and stay true to their identity. They’re also at home, which gives them even more of an advantage here.

Vikings vs Ravens Prediction: Spread
The Baltimore Ravens come in as six-point favorites in this game, which isn’t a large spread to cover. However, the Ravens are 3-4 ATS so far this season and haven’t covered a spread this large yet. They’re also going to be missing some key players in their lineup which could keep this game close.
The Minnesota Vikings on the other hand, have a habit of keeping games close. All of their losses are within seven points, so keep that in mind when betting. The Vikings are also 3-4 against the spread but have a 2-1 ATS record on the road. If you’re planning on betting the spread, your best bet is Minnesota +6.

Vikings vs Ravens Prediction: MoneyLine
This is where we wish we could tell you that the Vikings will win this game. However, that’d be leading you in the wrong direction. Minnesota has lost its identity and some key defensive players. They’ll be without Danielle Hunter for the rest of the season, so pressuring Lamar Jackson will be difficult.
In recent games, the Vikings have had trouble closing. Even with the lead well in hand, finishing games is a problem. Without Patrick Peterson in the lineup, the Ravens wide receivers will have a field day. It’s in your best interest to avoid the MoneyLine here, but if you do bet it, take the Baltimore Ravens.

Vikings vs Ravens Prediction: Total
The total in this one isn’t too large, especially when considering the defenses. Minnesota is missing a ton of players on the defensive side of the ball. Meanwhile, their offense has been known to put up a lot of points. Considering that they’re playing a team that averages 26.7 points per game, the total should go over 49.5.

The Baltimore defense has some flaws as well, allowing 23.4 points per game. Still, the Ravens are pretty great at putting points on the board, even if their last game didn’t show it. In all three of the Vikings away games, the total has gone over, so keep that in mind.
