Packers vs Bengals Prediction & NFL Odds for Week Five

• Aaron Rodgers will have a completion percentage above 80 percent
• Both teams will rush for over 100 yards
• Both quarterbacks will throw an interception

The Green Bay Packers hit the road for a matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. Both of these teams sit at 3-1 and have looked fairly good this season. The Packers lost their opening game in a blowout by 35 points but since then have been really good knocking off three teams in a row. The Bengals lost to the Bears in Week Two but have since been solid. Both of these teams really don’t have a marquee win to their credit.

While both teams sit at 3-1, I don’t think you can say that either of these teams are really good this year yet. Neither team has a win over a top 10 team in the league and have been beating up on some of the worst teams in the league. Look for both teams to try and make a statement this week.

Packers vs Bengals Prediction: Spread

The Packers are really solid and they have the offense to outlast the Bengals. Joe Burrow has gotten wild at times and if he needs to throw it a lot I don’t trust him yet. Take the Packers to win this one with a touchdown late.

You could definitely think about taking the Bengals to win outright but I think the Packers are the more experienced group and will find a way to win. Aaron Rodgers has been playing great this year and I don’t think he’s going to allow a loss to the Bengals.

Both of these quarterbacks can throw the ball all over the field. I think that we will see a close game late leading to a lot of throwing down the field. I think this one is going to hit the over with as many passes that will be thrown.

Prop Predictions

For this matchup, there are two prop predictions that I really like. Both involve the quarterback of each team and passing yards. For Aaron Rodgers the passing yardage over/under is set at 262.5 yards and Joe Burrow’s is set at 271.5 yards. I think both of these quarterbacks easily surpass those numbers.

Both of these teams are really good run defenders and they are each not good at running the football to begin with. That leads me to think that each quarterback will pass the ball close to 40 times in this game. Look for both of the quarterbacks to eclipse the 300 yard mark.
