London, baby! Get excited, it’s time for the very first international game of the 2021 NFL season. On Sunday, the New York Jets (1-3) and Atlanta Falcons (1-3) face off in Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England, with kickoff set for 9:30am EST.
Both these teams are hoping to get their second win of the season in London. The Jets are entering this game coming off of their first win against the Tennessee Titans, while the Falcons are hoping to bounce back after a close 30-34 loss to the Washington Football Team.

Jets vs Falcons Prediction: Spread
I’m taking the Jets to cover the spread. I think they’ll come out on top for this Week 5 international matchup, and I think they’ll win be exactly three points. It’s going to be a pretty close game, so get ready!

Jets vs Falcons Prediction: MoneyLine
This is going to be a close game between two bad teams. In London. In the morning. Sounds like a good time to me!
I think this is actually going to be a pretty close game, as both these teams are good matches for each other. However, since the Falcons have one of the worst defenses in the NFL, and the Jets offense is a little better than I initially thought they’d be, I’m taking the Jets for this international matchup.

There aren’t a lot of redeeming qualities about the Atlanta Falcons. They have one of the worst defenses, allowing a league-worst average of 32 points per game. Last week, they threw away a decent lead in the third and fourth quarters and ended up losing by four points to the Washington Football Team.
Matt Ryan played decently at the beginning of Sunday’s game, but at the end, he struggled to make passes and convert downs, and ultimately was unable to get the win. The question is will he be able to play well enough to defeat the Jets? I don’t think he will, he’s too inconsistent.
On the New York side, Zach Wilson and the Jets’ offense looked all right in the second half of last week’s win; Wilson threw for almost 300 yards. If they hope to win this game, Wilson must perform at the same level that he did then, and consistently make plays and big throws.
The Jets aren’t exactly a reliable team, but I think that for this game, they will be able to maintain their winning momentum and come back from London with their second win of the season.

Jets vs Falcons Prediction: Total
The total for this game is 45.5 points. I think that the over is a good bet for this game, as it’s going to be a close game. My bet is that it will be a decently high-scoring one, so the over would probably be a safe bet. According to the oddsmakers, it could go either way.
