The Kansas City Chiefs head to take on the Washington Football Team in a Sunday afternoon game. Both of these teams sit at 2-3 on the season and are underperforming based on preseason expectations.

If you would have said both of these teams would have the same record coming into the game you would have thought that Washington was 5-0 or 4-1. However, both teams are under .500 at a point in the season where we are getting into the meat of the year. Look for this game to be supremely entertaining.

Chiefs vs Washington Prediction: Spread

The Chiefs have not performed up to their expectations this season whatsoever. After starting the year 2-3, I think this is the week that the Chiefs really kick it into gear to prove that they are legit Super Bowl contenders. The Redskins defense was touted as being very good on paper, but they have been one of the worst in the league this year. Look for the Chiefs to look to send a message this week.

Much like I stated above, the Chiefs are going to be looking to pummel Washington this week. They want to prove that they belong in the Super Bowl talks still, even with their dismal start. The Chiefs might not win 55-17, but they’ll certainly win this game easily.

The Chiefs are going to come out and try to score a ton of points in this game. Their defense has also been known to give up quite a few points. Look for the Chiefs to get off to a quick start and run the score up to easily get to the over.

Prop Predictions

Some of my favorite props revolve around the Chiefs and their star players. Patrick Mahomes over/under for passing yards is set at 315.5 yards and I think he will easily push past that. A big reason for getting to that number is going to be Travis Kelce. His over/under on receiving yards is set at 87.5 yards and this is a week where he should blow by that.
