Chiefs vs Titans Prediction & NFL Odds for Week 7
- Can the Chiefs maintain their momentum?
- Are the Titans for real?
- Expect a high-scoring game
In the seventh week of the NFL, the Kansas City Chiefs (3-3) travel to Nissan Stadium to take on the Tennessee Titans (4-2,) with kickoff slated for Sunday at 1pm EST.
The Chiefs, who are currently last in the AFC West, are hoping to boost themselves further in their division by getting their fourth win of the season. They destroyed the Washington Football Team 31-13 last week.
The Titans, who are sitting at a comfortable first place in the AFC South, will aim to extend their winning streak to three games, as they defeated the formidable Buffalo Bills in a close 34-31 game.

Chiefs vs Titans Prediction: Spread
I think the Kansas City Chiefs will be able to cover the spread for this game. They are currently -5.5 point favorites, and while I think the Titans will be able to keep the game relatively close, I see the Chiefs winning by a touchdown or more, which is more than sufficient to cover the spread.

Chiefs vs Titans Prediction: MoneyLine
Both these AFC teams are really confusing this season. The Chiefs, who used to be such a formidable opponent due to the rise of Patrick Mahomes, are now dead last in the AFC West with an even record of 3-3. The Titans have beaten dangerous teams like the Buffalo Bills and the Seattle Seahawks, but they also lost to the New York Jets in Week 4.
That being said, I’m going to go with the Chiefs for this Week 7 AFC matchup. I think they will be able to improve upon last week’s dominant performance against Washington to out-perform the Titans this week and come away with a record of 4-3.
The Chiefs’ record doesn’t accurately reflect how they have been playing this season. All of their losses, except for the one against the Buffalo Bills in Week 5, have been by six points or less. They’ve played some close games and taken the loss in these games.
On Sunday, the Chiefs found on some good momentum against the Washington Football Team, handing them their third win of the season. Mahomes completed 32 of 47 passes for 397 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions. Kansas City’s defense held Washington to just 13 points, under 100 rushing yards, and 182 passing yards.
If the Chiefs play like they did against Washington, they will be in good shape against the Titans this week, especially since Tennessee’s defense has been less-than good this season.
Michael Burton, Jody Fortson, Tyreek Hill, Anthony Hitchens, and Joe Thuney did not practice today.
Chris Jones, Travis Kelce, Tyrann Mathieu, Jarran Reed, Charvarius Ward, and Trey Smith were limited.https://t.co/h9tyUtKQlD

This is a pivotal game for the Tennessee Titans. If they defeat Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs, then they will show that they are, for lack of a better way to say it, the real deal, that their 4-2 record isn’t just a fluke.
The Titans’ biggest asset is, without a doubt, Derrick Henry. Against the Bills last week, Henry rushed for 143 yards and scored three touchdowns. Kansas City has one of the worst rushing defenses in the league, so if the Titans hope to win this game, or at least keep it close, Henry is going to have to show up, and show up big time.
That being said, I think that the Chiefs have what it takes to both win this game and cover the spread. This is an important game for them. If they want to make a comeback and claw their way to the top of the AFC West, they’re going to have to start winning games.

Chiefs vs Titans Prediction: Total
The total is scary high for this game, it is currently sitting at a whopping 57.5 points. However, I think that the over is a good bet, as much as it’s a little bit intimidating. Both the Chiefs and the Titans have been scoring a lot of points in their games this year, even in their losses. They have been pushing above 30 points in most of their games. So while a 57.5 point total looks unattainable, I think the Chiefs and Titans will combine for more than that in this Week 7 AFC matchup.
- Free Prediction: Total -110
