Cardinals vs Rams Prediction: Spread
This week’s spread seems surprisingly close. The Rams are coming off of a dominant 34-24 win over the reigning Super Bowl Champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers, while the Cardinals beat the Jaguars 31-19 in a game that seemed way too close.
Kyler Murray had his worst game of the season so far against one of the worst defenses in the NFL and is now going to face one of the best. The Rams defense did not force any Interceptions from Brady but they did hold him to only 1 Touchdown on 55 pass attempts. This doesn’t bode well for Kyler Murray who threw 0 Touchdowns and 1 Interception against a defense that ranks 29th in turnovers.
Matthew Stafford on the other hand looks better and better every week, carving up the Buccaneers weak secondary with 4 Touchdowns, 0 Interceptions, and 343 yards. The Cardinals have a significantly better secondary and overall defense then the Buccaneers and rank 2nd in the league in points allowed and 7th in Interceptions.

Cardinals vs Rams Prediction: MoneyLine
In this divisional game between two Quarterbacks who are making strong cases early on for MVP candidacy, who will come out on top? The Moneyline suggests the Rams should come out on top and I have to agree.
The game against the Buccaneers was likely going to be the Rams most difficult game this entire season. The Rams not only won but realistically beat the Bucs by 17. Tom Brady led Tampa Bay down the field and scored a garbage-time TD to bring the game within 10 with 1:10 left in the game. It was a handy win and should give the team so much confidence for the rest of the season.

The Cardinals, on the other hand, barely snuck past the abhorrent Jaguars and if not for a horrible Trevor Lawrence pick-six, the Cardinals looked like they were going to be behind on the scoreboard at the end of the third quarter. Nobody could’ve seen that coming and the Cardinals, including Kyler Murray, looked totally off balance all game on both sides of the ball.
Based on last week and knowing the Rams will be at home in SoFi Stadium, this should be a very important divisional game that the Rams walk away from with a solid win.

Cardinals vs Rams Prediction: Total
Smash the Under this week! The Cardinals have a way better defense then the Bucs so far and have been much more efficient in turnovers, yards allowed, points allowed and sacks among other major categories.
Because of this, I would guess the Rams are limited to more like 24-31 points while the Cardinals are going to struggle heavily against the Rams elite defense, only being able to muster maybe 14-17. This would optimistically set my predicted game total at 48 points or one whole Touchdown and extra point under the total.
Kyler Murray will likely struggle heavily again and as we have seen, if Kyler is struggling, then the whole team is struggling. The only Wildcard is the Rams offense. We have seen that they can put up big numbers when it counts and who knows what their potential is once we get further and further into the season.
