Bengals vs Browns Prediction & NFL Odds for Week 9
- AFC North rivalry game
- Can the Bengals edge the Ravens out of the first place spot?
- Expect a close game
In the ninth week of the NFL regular season, the Cincinnati Bengals (5-3) host the Cleveland Browns (4-4) at Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio, with kickoff scheduled for Sunday at 1pm EST.
In this AFC North rivalry game, the Bengals are hoping to bounce back in this game after losing in a surprising 34-31 upset to the New York Jets on Sunday. The Browns are also hoping to bounce back this week, as they lost 15-10 to the Pittsburgh Steelers last week.

Bengals vs Browns Prediction: MoneyLine
Both these teams are hoping to bounce back with a win after disappointing Week 8 performances. Their losses on Sunday were quite surprising for me personally, as both the Bengals and the Browns are solid teams.
There is a lot on the line for both teams in this AFC North rivalry matchup. This division is one of the better ones in the NFL, and the record difference between the first-place team (Baltimore Ravens, 5-2) and the fourth-place team (Cleveland Browns, 4-4) is quite small. Every game and every performance matters.
I think that the Bengals will probably take this game at home, but I expect a good game and a close game. Like I said before, both teams have a lot riding on this game, and you can bet that there will be a lot of energy on both sides of the field.
The Bengals found themselves on the losing side of the biggest upset of Week 8. They fell to the New York Jets on Sunday by a field goal. Even though their performance was quite disappointing in this game, I wouldn’t put too much unnecessary weight on it.
That being said, I would keep a wary eye on the defensive unit if I were the Bengals. Their defense gave up over 400 passing yards against Mike White, and combined with the Jets’ running game, the Bengals’ defense crumbled. The Browns have some formidable offensive players of their own, namely Nick Chubb, who will probably be able to do some serious damage to the Cincinnati defense.
Despite a terrible performance in Week 8, I think the Browns have what it takes to keep the game pretty competitive. They’re also a solid team who’ve hit some snags along the way, but I expect them to bounce back this week and put up a good fight against the Bengals.
That being said, I think the Bengals will come out on top in this AFC North matchup. This is an important game for them, as it could potentially bump them up to first place in the division. I expect the Bengals to both win and cover the spread, but I think the Browns will definitely hold their own.

Bengals vs Browns Prediction: Total
The total for this game is currently set at 46.5 points. Judging from the recent offensive struggles of both teams, I think the under is a solid bet. I think that both teams will combine for just a couple of points under 46.5.
- Free Prediction: Under -110
