Bears vs Bengals Prediction: Andy Dalton going against his former team
Week one of the NFL was every bit as advertised as there were some great games across the league. This Sunday the Bengals are on the road to face another opponent from the NFC North in the Chicago Bears. Kick-off is set for 1 P.M. ET at Soldier Field in Chicago.
The Cincinnati Bengals are week one winners as they came away with a 27-24 win over the Minnesota Vikings. Joe Burrow looked great despite not seeing any game action since November of last season.
Burrow threw for 265 yards and two touchdowns with no turnovers. Running back Joe Mixon had 127 yards on the ground and rookie wideout JaMarr Chase had 5 catches for 101 yards and a touchdown. The Bengals’ defense was tough on the ground only allowing 67 total yards for the game.

The Bears got the Sunday night game and were blown out on the road in big fashion by the LA Rams. After giving up some points in the early going, the Bears settled in and only trailed 13-7 at the half.
The Bears came out in the second half the same way they started the game allowing some quick scores to the Rams and eventually, a competitive game turned into a reps game for both teams. The Bears had a solid night rushing the ball and for a team that expects to be run-heavy, they will have their hands full against a team that only allowed 67 yards in their last game.

Bears vs Bengals Prediction: Spread
The Chicago Bears are currently 3.5 point favorites to defeat the Cincinnati Bengals. These two teams match up pretty well on paper and this should be a good game from start to finish. The Bears had a disappointing Sunday night, but Rams are a talented team. The defense of Chicago should be hungry after getting humiliated and should be much better in this game against a weak Bengals front line.
The Bengals kicked off the year with a huge win over the Minnesota Vikings in overtime. The offense looked sharp and Joe Burrow was very accurate and efficient in leading this team. This team has one of the tougher schedules in football this year but these are the kind of games they would like to have. Being on the road against a tough Bears game still gives them the edge in this game.

Bears vs Bengals Prediction: Moneyline
The Bears have a more talented roster and filled a huge void in the offseason by addressing the quarterback situation. Andy Dalton is serviceable, he did a great job moving the team down the field and giving them a shot in the red zone but the question still remains when will we see Justin Fields?
Fields was on the field in segments against the Rams and came away with his first touchdown of the season. It may still be too early to pull the plug on Dalton but against an opponent like the Bengals while being at home hard not to trust the rookie to get the start here.
