by Tanner KernJune 23, 2021

SuperBook, Nevada’s premier sportsbook, is expanding to Colorado. The SuperBook will open at the Lodge Casino in Black Hawk, Colorado, on June 25, 2021. Jacobs Entertainment, Inc., a gaming company that operates the Lodge Casino in Colorado and betting facilities in Nevada, and Louisiana made the announcement today thanks to a partnership with SuperBook Sports.

The SuperBook at the Lodge Casino is expected to be a state-of-the-art facility from the floor plans and prior announcements. Mobile betting is legal in Colorado, but the SuperBook will be a popular location for retail wagering if it’s as nice as the industry is expecting.

SuperBook Sports has been operating for over 30 years. They were instrumental in the legalization and development of sports betting in the United States. The Colorado facility will be SuperBook’s first location outside of Las Vegas, where the company operates premier betting facilities.

The SuperBook will be located on the second level of the Lodge Casino. The betting facility will span 7,000 square feet throughout the second floor of the casino. There will be 28 HDTVs for people in every corner of the sportsbook to watch the game.

SuperBook is known for amenities in Las Vegas, and this will be the case in Colorado. There will be numerous seating areas for lounging and dining. There will be a full-service restaurant and bar inside the property with outstanding service.

Background on SuperBook Sports

SuperBook Sports is led by Jay Kornegay, a CO native and one of the most respected names in the betting industry. The Lodge Casino is excited about the partnership partially because of Kornegay’s knowledge.

JJ Garcia, the VP of operation for The Lodge, believes the sportsbook will be a success because of Kornegay’s knowledge.

“Having Jay Kornegay lead this exciting opportunity, along with his reputable team, we have no doubt that Colorado fans are sure to appreciate the knowledge and experience they bring to the market.”

Kornegay has always had the vision of making SuperBook Sports distinct from competitors in the industry. The SuperBook leader believes the expansion is perfect for the company as the betting industry becomes more popular throughout the nation.

“We could not be more excited for the Grand Opening of The SuperBook at the Lodge Casino. It is a perfect fit for our initial expansion outside Las Vegas. We will continue to focus on what sets us apart: better odds, favorable pricing, and an extensive wagering menu. Having a partner with the stellar reputation and well-known brand of The Lodge will only make us that much better.”

The grand opening is being heavily promoted by the Lodge Casino. There will be a ribbon-cutting scheduled for noon on June 25. The first wager will be placed by former Denver Bronco and current radio personality Mark Schlereth.
