The Orange have a 1-0 ATS record so far this season, including covering the spread against Western Michigan. On the road, Syracuse has gone 1-2 vs. the spread.

The Boilermakers have a 1-1 ATS record so fhr this season, including covering the spread against Virginia Tech. Looking across Purdue’s three most recent home games, they are 2-1 against the spread.

After an impressive defensive showing against Virginia Tech, I’m favoring Purdue to cover the spread this week, especially with the line currently set at +2.5.

Purdue vs. Syracuse Prediction: MoneyLine

Looking ahead to this week’s game against Purdue, the Syracuse Orange still have a perfect 2-0 record. In their most game, they beat Western Michigan with a 48-7 win. In the win, quarterback Garrett Shrader was not only responsible for one touchdown through the air but also added one touchdown on the ground. In terms of passing, he accumulated 286 yards while achieving a completion rate of 63.3%.

Purdue returned to a .500 record after their recent victory against Virginia Tech. The Boilermakers now enter this week’s matchup with a record of 1-1. Despite not throwing a touchdown pass in the team’s win versus Virginia Tech, quarterback Hudson Card did manage to rush for one touchdown. His overall statistics included a completion rate of 67.6% and a total of 248 passing yards.

Even though I have Syracuse winning this one straight-up, I’d stick to the moneyline. Look for this to be a closer game than expected with Syracuse eventually pulling out a win over Purdue.

In their most recent game, Purdue and Virginia Tech combined for 41 points which was below the over/under line of 49. Purdue’s over/under record this season is 0-1. Purdue has an OU record of 2-1 across their past three games.

For this week’s matchup, I’m going with the under, as all of Purdue’s previous games have had over/under lines lower than 58.5. We see this line as too high for these teams, and we expect the game to stay under 58.5.
