Best NBA Teams to Bet

Utah Jazz

Let’s start with the Utah Jazz. The Jazz is currently the number one seed in the NBA with an incredible 26-6 record. This year Utah has come together as a team and have been unstoppable.

They are on a hot streak, and they don’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon. The starting lineup for the Jazz consists of Donovan Mitchell (SG), Mike Conley (PG), Bojan Bogdanovic (SF), Royce O’Neale (PF), and Rudy Gobert (C).

Mitchell is the team’s points leader averaging 24 points per game. Gobert leads the team in blocks (2.8) and rebounds (13.3), placing him in the top 5 of the NBA, and Conley leads the team in assists and steals.

In their 6 losses, 4 were during away games, and 2 were home games. Utah’s next 10 games only will include one home game. Even though they will be playing mostly away games, they aren’t against tough teams.

In the lineup are Miami, Orlando, and New Orleans. So, expect them to keep winning. Usually, when you bet in basketball, you want to bet the spread because teams are very uneven in how good or bad they are.

Utah has won 24 out of 32 times, giving them the best cover percentage in the NBA at 75.0%. Utah seems like a sure team to bet on the Moneyline or spread down the road.

New Orleans Pelicans

The New Orleans Pelicans are not a team you expect to hear about in a conversation about teams to bet on, but there is a reason I bring them up. The starters for the Pelicans are Steven Adams (C), Zion Williamson (PF), Brandon Ingram (SF), Eric Bledsoe (PG), and Lonzo Ball (PG).

Looking at this lineup, you immediately think, wow, this a good team. They should be winning a lot more than they are. But in reality, they are not winning enough. The Pelicans are good at putting up a large number of points, whether it’s a loss or a win.

I recommend betting the over whenever you see the Pelicans play. They have a record of 23-8 with the over, which is 74.2%. This is a trend I would follow as the season goes on.

They have not scored less than 100 points since their loss on January 15th against the defending champs and Lebron. In their largest win of the season, they scored 144 points, and in their most significant loss, they score 130 points. I would keep an eye on these guys for some easy money throughout the rest of the season.

Brooklyn Nets

The Nets are another team I would place bets on throughout the remainder of the season. They have a powerhouse team with Kyrie Irving (PG), James Harden (SG), Kevin Durant (SF), Deandre Jordan (C), and Jeff Green (PF), and other great players.
Kevin, Kyrie, and James Harden are all averaging above 25 points and 5 assists.

There is much basketball to be played in the season, but for the next 12 games the Nets should pull off a win in each.
Brooklyn is a consistent team when it comes to betting the over or just betting the money line. The Nets have a record of 21-12 and are in 2nd place in the Atlantic. They show a trend, hitting the over most of the time, especially when they win.

They have a record of 23-10 when betting the over, which puts them at 69.7% and 2nd behind the Jazz.
When it comes to the spread, they aren’t a terrible team to bet on as they hit 50% of those bets, but I would avoid that and just play the over, and you will be satisfied with your betting choices.

The Nets are a great choice when choosing NBA teams to bet on during the home-stretch of the season.
